About the brush:
This is the ONE and only brush you need for watercolor and it's wonderful! This size 12 brush has beautiful synthetic bristles that come to the perfect point! It will allow you to do large washes and fine detail work all at the same time! This is the brush I recommend for beginners, it has great flow and holds enough water, but the bristles aren't so floppy that it will be hard to control if you're just getting started.

About the sketchbook:
This little mini watercolor journal packs a big punch!
The notebook itself is about 5x5 inches and the pages within are about 4.5x4.5. It's cotton, cold press watercolor paper, 140lb, and there are 24 sheets in the notebook. The outside has a lovely blue fabric and it also comes with a book mark and an elastic to keep it closed!
