Curious about the supplies I used in the book?
As with anything I show you, I recommend using whatever supplies you already have to get started. That being said, I worked from a limited list of colors from tubes so that it would be easy to find the colors. If your country doesn't have these specific brands I recommend finding the color name in a brand you like. The colors I used are below and I’ve included links to the exact brands for each, just in case you were looking for some tubes of any of these colors. Some of these links are affiliate links where at no cost to you I earn a small commission from the store.

Watercolors

ShinHan Permanent Yellow Deep (This is currently only sold within a set) an alternative that's sold as an individual color is Mission Gold's Permanent Yellow Deep

Brushes
For a brush, I switched between a size 3 quill and a size 12 round brush, they are effectively the same size and either works great. Look for one that has synthetic bristles and a nice point. The two specific brushes I primarily used were my size 3 quill brush and wONEderbrush . A flat wash brush is also used briefly and could come in hand.

Paper

The pad of paper included in the book is a student grade paper with a texture similar to cold press paper. Due to deadlines I didn’t have access to the paper in the book until after all the photos were due. So, the paper I painted on initially was Stonehenge Cold Press 140lb watercolor paper. There are PDF downloads of all the designs, so you can transfer the images to your preferred paper if you have a favorite.

Other supplies I used:
-
2 cups of water
-
Rag or paper towel
